Low volume, palatable, broad spectrum Praziquantel and Ivermectin horse worm and bot paste

COMPOSITION

Contains: Praziquantel 140 mg/g
Ivermectin 18.7 mg/g Apple flavoured.

Actions

Ivermectin acts by binding selectively and with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride channels in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This leads to hyperpolarisation of these cells, resulting in flaccid paralysis and death of the parasite. Praziquantel increases permeability of tegumental and muscle cells to calcium ions, which results in parasitic muscular contraction and paralysis.
